...who loves wild flowers and when I saw this set I knew it would be her next birthday card.
You see out in the back of my house I have these wild morning glories growing and they look like the challenge colors.
The base card is grey card stock with a layer of pink card stock.
The main piece is white card stock and I stamped the outline from Altenew's "Morning Glory" set with Distress weathered wood ink.
To color the pink as it is on the flower I used a Prisma pencil.
Using a grey Prisma pencil I drew the vines.
The verse from Altenew's "Floral Frame" set was stamped with the same Distress ink.
Taking a little poetic license I added centers in the flower with Nuvo rhubarb crumble Crystal Drops.
Ironically I had just received the drops in the mail and was sad as I thought it was a more "red" color, but it worked perfectly for the challenge!
I love that you used such a soft version of the color combo. Very lovely card.
