In the meadow we can build...

...a Tim Holtz Snowman.

I belong to a card ministry that needs get well card at the moment.
Since the challenge was Winter Chills I thought this would work well.

On Facebook this morning I saw a lovely card by Crystal O. Minkler and decided to play with her technique.

Please check out her link above.
The base card is white linen card stock.
The main piece is water color paper that I sponged Distress ink faded jeans, using a mask I made of text weight paper and the hills die from Tim Holtz Sizzix's "Home for the Holidays" set.
Then I spritzed it with water and used a paper towel to blot it off.
In the lower left hand corner I stamped the verse from Tim Holtz "Saying Stuff" stamp set by Stampers Anonymous using StazOn jet black ink.
Using white linen, black, blue and brown card stock I die cut the layers of the snowman from Tim Holtz Sizzix's "Snowman Scene" set and glued them together before applying the snowman to the card front with glue dots.
