Did you know this was a quote from Charles Dickens?

I didn't.
I loved this quote for years and have read Mr. Dickens but until I bought the set "...a beauty of it's own" from Unity Stamp Co., I didn't realize this verse was from Charles Dickens?

The base card is white linen card stock with a layer of black card stock.
The main piece is water color paper.
To the paper I added sponged Distress Oxide inks as follows...
Spring - peeled paint
Summer - salty ocean
Autumn - spiced marmalade
Winter - iced spruce
After sponging I spritzed them with water and blotted with a paper towel.
Once it was completely dry I stamped the flowers from Unity Stamp Co.'s "insightful meadows" set using StazOn jet black ink and the verse from Unity Stamp Co.'s "...a beauty of it's own" set with the same ink.
To finish I taped the main piece to the base card.
