Why we celebrate...

A simple card to help us remember that we are celebrating a baby's birth long ago on a silent night.

The base card is white card stock.
Using the stamps from Unity Stamp Co.'s "Reason for the Season"
and StazOn jet black ink I stamped the images in the middle of the card.
They were colored using Faber-Castell PITT artist pens.
Taking a piece of black card stock the same size as the card, place it over the top and move it down until you come to the far points of the star.
Next make two pencil marks, on the black card stock, at the far points of the star.
Keeping the card stock even with the front of the card, push it up until you see the verse at the bottom and mark two pencil marks at each side of the verse on the black card stock.
Take the black piece to the paper trimmer and match one upper mark on the right to the mark on the lower right side and cut.
Do the same with the left side.
Now glue the pieces on the card front.

  2. It's a very symbolic card. Middle white stripe symbolizes the beam of light that illuminated the holy place after Jesus' birth. A great idea and excellent colors.
Thank you for joining us at Happy Little Stampers Christmas.
    Regards, BożenA DT HLS.
