Sometimes the simpler the better...

This card is made with watercolor paper and pumpkin color, textured paper.
The image, Impression Obsession ...Jack In The Hat Cat (pre-2014) was stamped onto the watercolor paper using StazOn jet black ink and my Misti tool.
It helps a lot to use the Misti when stamping onto water color paper as you need to stamp a couple times to get the full image.
With the Misti you get perfect stamping!
The coloring was done with Derwent Inktense pencils and a water color brush.
The edges of the pumpkin paper were distressed with my distressing tool before I taped them to the front of the card.
To finish the card I applied Nuvo black drops to the bottom right of the image!

  3. The idea of a spooky cat in the hat is quite a spine-chiller! i like the rough edges of the image and the way the colouring focuses the eye on the central figure. Thanks for joining us at Retro Rubber.

  4. I love this, kind of spooky, but not too much. The subtle hint of orange really makes the Cat stand out. Thanks for playing with us this time at Retro Rubber. Claire DT
