...as in this card picture where I couldn't lessen the background that I shot it on!
The base card is white card stock with a layer of black card stock.
The main image is on white card stock.
I stamped the verse from Lawn Fawn's "love you s'more" set using StazOn jet black ink.
I also stamped the "s'more" from the same set once on the main piece and once on a sticky note.
I cut out the sticky note mask and placed it over the "s'more" then took some scrap card stock and ripped it to mask off the top of the main piece.
I started sponging the bottom with Distress forest moss ink holding the mask over the top part of the main piece.
Covering the grass I sponged the entire top of the piece with Distress chipped sapphire ink.
I ripped another piece of scrap and used it while sponging Distress black soot ink over the top of the main piece.
Now I sponged the whole main piece with the black soot to give it that night time feel.
I removed the "s'more" mask and colored it using my Distress markers.
I used my Distress picket fence marker to place "stars"
(or lightning bugs)in the summer night sky!
I finished by taping the main piece to the card front.
I love this adorable card! Your inky backdrop is fabulous, such a great technique to get the wonderful texture! Thanks for sharing with us at Lawn Fawnatics!

I love this card. For my "summer fun", it's so true, to have s'mores wz friends. Perfect interpretation of the challenge!
