Normally "Less Is More" means lots of white space like CAS.
But for this card I had double sided card stock that was screaming to be used...so I did!
I used one side of the doubled sided to make the base card which I die cut, to achieve the opening, with MFT Die-namics "stitched snowdrifts".
I cut another piece of the card stock and flipped it over to glue into the front with the two front pieces.
On another piece I stamped the verse from MFT's "steeped in love" set and trimmed it down to apply to the card front.
Less paper, less time and less fussing makes this my
Fab design for the LIM sketch today, liking the striped "white space" too

Ha ha! They're both lovely but I agree the second one is more CAS... loving that gorgeous paper on the first one though <3 Two fab cards and both so different in feel even though they're from the same sketch. I think the bold red of the second one is simple fantastic and sets off those florals to perfection. Great job! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)
ReplyDeleteYou have shown how fab this sketch looks with the white space used in the positive and negative spaces! Your stripy card made me smile - loving the bright colours. Your second card is definitely more CAS and the florals look so summery against the rich red. Great to see you at Less is More :)
