This is called "using what you have"...

So I didn't have any flower dies from ODBD, but I did have a snowflake!!!

The base card is plum card stock with a layer of purple polka dotted card stock.
The main image piece is white linen card stock .
Using another piece of the purple polka dotted card stock I die cut 6 snowflakes from ODBD "Snowflake Dies".
Then from another piece of plum card stock I cut  out the "blessings" from ODBD "Many Blessings" set.
Before gluing the sets of snowflakes together to form the flower I used my Distress ink seedless preserves marker to draw three "stems" then glued the two snowflakes die cuts together ,then onto the card front.
The "blessings" I glued on but I have to be honest I am not in love with the heart that dots the "i" on this set so I punched out a 1/8" circle to use for dotting the "i".
I then stamped the "showers of" because it's Spring, using the Distress marker.
To finish I used white Nuvo drops to make the seedy centers of the snowflake flowers!!!

  1. What creative flowers!! I love how you used what you had to create your own flowers. The added polka dots is a creative touch! Beautiful card! Thanks for joining us at ODBD!
