When you have the blues, make a card...

Because of our recent snow storm I was unable to have our Granddaughter for her second day with us.
That really does make me blue, but I decided to make cards and ran across this very appropriate challenge.

I started with a white card stock base card and corner rounded opposite corners.
I die cut the Impression Obsession tree DIE036-P using scrap paper.
I taped the front of the card and using the tree mask, with Adirondack denim ink, I sponged to get the swirl effect.
Next I took the tape and taped a small area to one side of the tree area and sponged it darkly.
I did the same with the opposite side.
Once that was dry I stamped the verse and word smile from Impression Obsession's "Smile" MC665 set using the same ink I used for the sponging.
