and
You may think I didn't follow the challenge guidelines but look closely at the card!
Confetti doesn't mean just little paper pieces or tons of it.
Mine is made of sequins with glitter 1/8" punched circles in the center.
I "spread my wings" by trying a new technique that I found at Splitcoaststampers...
I used a white card stock base card and with painter's tape I die cut the "hugs" (Lawn Fawn scripty hugs), placed it on the front of the card and using a sponge I inked the color (Adirondack red pepper ink) over the front of the card.
I pulled off the tape, and stamped the "love you" with StazOn jet black ink using Recollections "Valentine's Day".
To finish it off I glued the sequins on and with a 1/8" punch I punched out the glitter circles for the center.
I also punched out the heart to cover the "v" in love from the glitter paper.
*HINT... When using a glitter paper and dies or punches you will note that the "white" of the card stock shows along the edges.
Easily rectified by using a marker, the same color as the glitter, and gently going around the edge.
Such a lovely card for our challenge. And I love that masking technique you used on this card. Thanks so much for joining us at CCCB!
