On a mission...

Got a call from my friend that I make cards for her Card Ministry for shut ins.

She had been to a church meeting where everyone wanted more of my "card in a box" creations and it was suggested that I do some with a Christmas theme.

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge...Add gems or pearls 

I chose pearls for my addition.

This is my basic "card in a box" using cream card stock for the main card, green brick card stock for one layer then birdhouse patterned paper for the final layer.

The birds are made using a Stampin' Up ornament punch and cutting them in half.

I used red glitter paper for the birds and a red permanent pen to go around the edges and take off the "white".

I added pearls for the eyes!
