Did you ever see a card and think...

I would love to do that card but I can't afford $45.00 to buy the stamps and dies to make it?
This is one of those cards.

I saw a card with two snowmen and one had a "splat" where the snowball hit his face.
I knew I had two snowmen stamps that I could use but the "splat" was the problem.
That's when I looked through my punches and found this...
A "splat" punch!!!
I started with a white car stock base card and added the snowfall look patterned paper to the top of the front.
Then I  took another piece of the white card stock and stamped the snowmen (Sorry don't know the company).
With a permanent pen I finished off the snow mounds in between.
Then I trimmed it and added it to the card.
I punched the "splat" out of white card stock and carefully drew a black line around it with the pen.
I added eyes with the pen and applied it to the snowman's face with a glue dot for dimension.
Not that I'm telling anyone not to buy new things...but isn't it great when we can use what we have?
