My birthday comes around every year and not always is it welcome.
This year it seems to be stretching out and I kinda like it!
I needed a thank you for two friends who took my hubby and I out for breakfast and this challenge turned out to be helpful in getting that card done.
I don't always leave "white" space in my clean and simple cards but i do leave space...in this case grey.
The base card is grey bazzil type card stock.
I trimmed a piece of white linen car stock and placed the pine leaf from a set of masks by Hampton Art Stamps on top off center.
I sponged that with Distress ink "hickory smoke".
To add the thread I wrapped ano0ther piece of grey card stock and applied it over the leaf piece.
Using the "thanks" die, from a set by Little Yellow Bicycle, I cut it out and glued it over the top of the thread.
Now off to write and address the card!
Very stylish with those lovely greys and whites and a great use of thread for our challenge! Belated birthday wishes too. Thanks for playing along with us at Less is More :)
