One would think...

that with this many pastels...

(I got the whole box for $4.00 at an Estate Sale)

I would use them more often.
I chose to use them today because I remembered a technique that I used to do all the time but haven't lately.
It is SO easy with the Misti tool.

First you stamp the image from Impression Obsession (G21967)
onto white card stock using your Misti tool for placement and Staz-On black ink.
DON'T MOVE THE CARD OR THE STAMP!
Now gently color it in using your pastels.
Blow off as much excess as you can and re-ink the stamp that is still in place and stamp the image again.
Isn't is amazing how crisp the image looks now!

I then used patterned paper on black card stock under the image that I placed using foam tape.
Add a few gemstones and your done.

  1. Your card is definitely a winner for this challenge. I don't know how anyone can compete with this. You did an amazing job coloring it with your pastels.
