The leaves were made with"Fall Leaves" dies by Die-namic for MFT Stamps.
The little barista and verse are also MFT stamps.
I am about to be totally honest with you all...
I am tired of trying to get my coloring to look like the cards that we all see on line.
I do not own Copics and will not be able to buy them in the future as I have to pay for health care...ugh!
SO I decided to pull out all my mediums to see what I could create to "somewhat" look like what we all see.
This shows how I bought just about everything in the past.
The worst part are my markers.
I have Marvy (few and almost all dried out), Tim Holtz Distress (no skin tones at all) and Spectrum Noir (almost all gone and I won't be replacing as they mostly dried out on me).
As I gave up on the markers for this project I turned to my old favorites...Prisma colored pencils.
Honestly they could be just about any type and I remember a posting somewhere that said you don't need the best medium to create great art.
From now on I will be using my medium that I have until they are used up which should be about the time I don't stamp anymore.
(Unless some kind company wants to donate a set of their markers to me, with skin tones!!!)
I will also be entering this card in...
as well as...
i love the fall leaves and the fun image so softly coloured with your pencils! thank you so much for playing along with us at penny black and more!
