Another card for the son...

If you don't usually follow me then you probably don't know why I have to make 31 cards for my son.

Stephen is really into Halloween and horror movies!
He is a 36 year old with Down Syndrome and lives in a group home.
By making so many cards I am able to fill his mailbox every day in October so he can celebrate his favorite holiday.

Now on to another card for another challenge and to fill Stephen's mailbox.

The base card is black and the layer with the sky is grey.
I ripped a piece of text weight paper and starting on the long end of one side, I sponged Distress ink faded jeans with Tim Holtz's sponge blender on the piece to be layered.
I flipped the grey piece over and applied Distress ink black soot with the ripped piece.

Then it was over to the Cuttlebug with not two but 5 dies from Spellbinders to complete the dimensional look of the graveyard.

Stephen is so going to love these.
