Less is More...

This is one of my favorite challenge groups.
As you can see I go by the keep it simple s****d rule for most of my creations.
I love the elegance of a simple card.

My submission is one most of my friends would not do but I am not a frew frew type.

The flowers are a wonderful stamp I bought years ago at Jo Ann's for a dollar. They are by Ditto.
The text I am unable to give you the company.
Here is why...
I had the bright idea a year ago to put all my sayings together.
Major mistake!
I don't know which company is which AND today in this mess I found an Easter saying.
Which I needed when I designed my Easter cards.

After doing my challenges today I plan on figuring out what stamps should be where and repackage them.
Please learn from my mistakes.

  1. nice card, I was too rummaging amongst my stamps and thinking i need a better organisation method, at the mo it's which stampset i used last is in the front of the box they live in, but i've never thought of pulling sets a part, and thanks to your post I won't either. i have one box for lili of the valey stamps as they all are the same size and come in a little holder and all my christmas stuff is separated as I don;t need to flick through those every day..ideas welcome ;-)

  2. FAB card, I'm not a fan of "frou frou" either! Sorry to hear of your regret regarding your mixed up stamps. I'm afraid most of mine remain in their original packaging - it's a tad annoying to have to take them out, use them and then replace them but .... at least I know who produced which image. Thanks for the heads up, I'll be leaving them that way too!

  3. Such a sweet card. I'm with Kathy- ish. All my stamp sets are still together but I've put them onto (labeled) stamp sheets in A4 folders. Kinda works for me, but only because I have 2 index-type folders with just the images stamped onto paper in them and a note of which A4 folder the actual stamp is in. In the index folders I keep all the text stamps together, all the Christmas ones together, all the flowers together etc.etc. As I said, works for me!

  4. Love your Sayings collection, just what do we all do with our ever growing collection! I must confess to trying to keep mine in their packaging at least until it falls apart.

Love your card and the flora stamp is lovely. XOXO Zoe

  9. I guess I'm a little too organized! I have a photo of each of my stamp sets in a book, sorted by "type" (sentiment, flowers, leaves, etc)and each of the photos are numbered. Then I put each of the stamp sets in a clear sleeve with a label on the sleeve with the company name and stamp set name, along with the number that matches the photo book. Bear in mind I didn't do this until I had WAY too many stamps...but it sure makes finding what I want easier! Good look with getting yours sorted! Love your card too!
