White on White, now that IS a Challenge...

The biggest part of the challenge was getting a good picture for the blog!

Though I'm usually a very clean cut stamper. Not a lot of pearls, dies cuts and such. I decided to "challenge" myself and try thinking out of the box, after all I have these things sitting in my drawers.
Why not use them!

I hope you can see it! I used the Anna Griffin embossing folder, die cuts that matched the stamp from Our Daily Bread, embossing powder to put the image onto vellum, dimensional tape, my latest Sizzix "Tim Holtz" die cut tattered flowers and to top it off...
a pearl!

Now I'm going to clean up the mess and get back to some
 simpler cards!
Though I really did like the "challenge'!

  1. Awesome card!! And I'll bet it didn't even hurt! Love. It.

  2. This is absolutely gorgeous!! I just love that Anna Griffin Peony folder!! One of my faves!! It looks stunning with the Bird and butterfly labels on the vellum. Sheer elegance!! Thanks for joining us at ODBD this week!!

  3. Oh, what a beautiful worth all the mess! Your embossing folder is beautiful (one of my favorites), and I love how you've wet-embossed the beautiful ODBD label on vellum! So elegant and delicate! Truly a gorgeous card! So glad you've joined us again this week for the ODBD Shining the Light challenge! Hugs! (And I'm sure you are now all cleaned!)

  4. Gorgeous artwork! Love the embossed background, the beautiful embossing on the vellum, your lovely flower and....yes, the pearl! Glad you stepped out of your comfort zone, grabbed those unused goodies and created with us this week at ODBD! Woohoo!
