Did you know that there is a list of 30 mythical creatures if you search on Google?
That’s how I found out that the Loch Ness Monster is considered one of these.
The base card is teal card stock with a layer of white card stock and another of teal.
The “loch” is watercolor paper stamped with a My Favorite Things “Ocean Currents Background” stamp inked with Distress Oxide inks and spritzed with water.
Once dry I trimmed it with scissors.
I also cut a wave with a craft knife to allow “nessie” to pop through.
Nessie is stamped on white card stock with a stamp from Heffy Doodle “Highland Honeys” Stamps set and colored with Copic markers.
To finish I stamped a stamp from this set and Paper Smooches “Kindness Sampler” to create the sentiment.
Arlene, I really like that ocean waves image you created! I don't really have an ocean waves stamp like that, but I'm definitely going to try your background technique with the distress oxides!! -Donna
ReplyDeleteLove the scene you've created with Nessie and that sentiment is just perfect!
