Everyone usually thinks pastel colors for Spring but bunnies come in different colors and natural eggs can be brown.
To make it mixed media I started with a cream card stock base card and added a brown panel.
Next I made a Distress background with Distress inks.
On that I stamped the sentiment from Tim Holtz “Spring Shadows”.
Using an egg die, unknown company, I cut out a brown egg.
Using white card stock, I cut a bunny using a die from Tim Holtz sets”Bunny Hop”.
To this I added Versmark ink and sprinkled it with Distress embossing glazes and heated them.
I attached the bunny with glue dots.
Rose, you distress ink background is fabulous! It has a shine to it,,, did you also heat emboss it? So clever using the bunny outline with your sentiment - he looks quite "frolicky"!! Thank you for sharing your card with us at The Male Room for our "mixed media" challenge!!! -Donna
