The story of the stove.
This card is for my fiend who has been waiting for the delivery of her new stove, the other one burned up, for a month.
First it hadn’t been shipped.
Then we had been having lake effect snows so bad that they won’t send the delivery trucks out.
So in preparation of her actually getting the stove I thought I would make a card and send it as a congratulations!
The base card is brick red card stock.
The patterned paper, kitchen mode, was cut with a die from My Favorite Things “Stitched Basic Edges”.
Using cream, brick red and metallic silver card stocks and acetate with Tim Holtz “Retro Oven” I created the stove and attached it to the card front.
Absolutely fabulous - and it will be great for your friend to finally receive her stove - worth celebrating!

What a fabulous card! This is why card-making is such a great hobby - you'd probably not find a card with a stove on it at the store :) Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.
