It’s so helpful to make backgrounds ahead of time.
On water color paper I made a Distress ink background then stamped the whole thing with Hero Arts “Star Light Star Bright Bold Prints”.
This I layered on white glitter card stock then the black card stock base card.
From more white glitter card stock I cut the trees and deer with dies from Tim Holtz “Darling Deer” and “Forest Shadows” die sets.
These I glued and foam taped to the card front.
Arlene... the glitter paper you used almost twinkle blues...what fun! Great card. The background is fabulous...love the technique you used. The blue stars on distressed black is perfect. Thanks for sharing with The Paper Players this week...Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteWow, this is a stunner! The black and white create such a wonderful contrast. Those deer are amazing! Thanks for playing with my Paper Players challenge this week!
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning night sky! The touches of glitter are lovely but it's those die cut deer and trees that are absolute scene-stealers. Thanks for sharing with us at The Paper Players.
