flowers…

I have fallen in love with the newest Distress ink color scorched timber!!!
The base card is cream card stock with brown flecks through it.
Using more of this card stock for the layer, I sponged the scorched timber around the edge.
The main panel, of the same card stock, I embossed it with the Tim Holtz 3D “Doily” embossing folder and hit just the doily with the same ink.
The sentiment, from Tim Holtz “Crazy Talk”, was stamped with the same ink.
Using a piece of water color paper I die cut the flowers using a die from Tim Holtz “Wilderflowers #3” and sponged the Distress crackling campfire and scorched timber to it before gluing it to the card front.

  1. An exquisite card Arlene - I thought the doily was actually glued on until I read your description of how you made the card! As a crochet-er of long standing, that is a stunning EF!
