So years and years and years ago before all these wonderful companies had all these wonderful grid stencils we used drywall tape to stencil the pattern.
Today I decided to use the tape itself.
The base card is white card stock.
On a piece of the tape I applied Distress ink uncharted mariner and let it dry completely before applying it to the card front.
Next I stamped the sentiment from MFT Stamps “Aim for the Clouds” using Distress Oxide uncharted mariner.
On more white card stock I applied Distress ink mustard seed.
Next I die cut it with MFT Die-namics “Sunny Skies” die.
This I applied with a large foam square then trimmed off the edge.
I still have some of that tape too, Arlene, but it's so old it's lost it's 'sticky'... Love how you have used it here to make this delightful card.

What a great idea to use your tape Arlene! Inking it is a nice touch and the addition of your die cut sun and stamped sentiment makes a really pleasing group. Thanks for coming to play with us at Addicted to CAS! Vicky x
ReplyDeleteArlene, I love how you used the grid to anchor your fabulous sun. A gorgeous CAS card. So glad you joined us at Addicted to CAS this week
