Another story behind another card.
This year we found twenty plus ash trees that had been destroyed by the “ash borer” bugs.
We took down one that would have hit the house if it fell but have so far left the rest.
You may ask why…because we read somewhere that old trees are wonderful for wildlife.
Sure enough I looked out this morning to see a robin in one of them.
The base card is cream card stock.
On water color paper I watercolored with Art Impression stamps from “WC Bird Bath Set” and “WC Branches Set”.making sure to stamp “off the edge”.
The markers I used were Distress markers, gosh how I wish they still made them, frayed burlap, vintage photo, gathered twigs, candied apple, barn door and ground espresso.
To finish the panel I stamped the sentiment from Birch Press Design “Blooming Spring” usig Memento rich cocoa ink.
Gorgeously stunning card - love the design and the colours. Thank you for joining us at HLS CAS Challenge xx Lynda/Loopyloo DT
