I really wanted to play with a new Newton’s Nook Designs set that I have but it’s all about Christmas.
But then I looked carefully at the VW van and saw that the tree and presents could be covered with something else so I gave it a try!
The base card is white card stock.
The photo frame I made by trimming down pink card stock and die cutting it with a square die.
On another piece of square white card stock I used stencil brushes and Distress Oxide black soot & peacock feathers inks for the sky and the road.
On another piece of white card stock I stamped the image from Newton's Nook Designs “Destination Christmas” and an image from Newton’s Nook Designs “Newtons Makes Plans” using Memento tuxedo black ink and colored them with Copic markers.
These I trimmed out and glued to the card front.
The heart that Newton is holding I made on plastic sheeting from my husband’s back patches using Nuvo red berry crystal drops.
After it dried completely I applied it with a glue dot.
To finish the card I stamped the sentiment from Newton’s Nook Designs “Newton’s Antics” with the Memento ink.
Aren't you super clever! Love how you masked the VW bus and added the yoga kitty! Great way to stretch your stamps! So glad you shared with us at Inky Paws!
