Christmas Kickstart Challenge #41...Festive Florals

Feeling very honored to be the guest elf for this challenge!
My mother always asked me to make her Christmas cards, for her to send out, very simple.
Just an image and a sentiment.
Maybe that’s where I get my love of CAS.
The base card is white linen card stock with a layer of black card stock.
On after color paper I stamped the poinsettia image from the center of a Stampendous cling poinsettia background stamp using Distress markers.
Next I used my water and brush to float the colors.
Once dry I stamped the sentiment from My Sentiments Exactly! “Holiday Sentiments” using Memento tuxedo black ink.

In honor of my Mom for this Christmas!

Stunning pair of poinsettias, Arlene - just love how you watercolored them!! Loved your mom story too - my mom likes to ask me to make various cards at the last minute but thankfully not Christmas cards!
