It was fun for this challenge to make my own stencil.
The base card is purple card stock with a layer of white card stock.
The main piece started when I stenciled on white card stock using Tim Holtz “Mini Shifter 40” stencil with Distress inks peacock feathers and dusty concord.
Next I cut a stencil from card stock using a die from MFT Die-a mics “Stitched Rectangle STAX” and sponged with Distress Oxide peacock feathers over the original stenciling (this creates the tone on tone.
Next I die cut the stenciling with a size larger stencil from the same set.
On another piece of white card stock I sponged the Distress Oxide dusty concord ink and then die cut the piece with a die from a love nicole set.
This I glued to the stenciled piece and then foam taped the piece to the center of the card to achieve the CAS look.
Love these colors Arlene, and the geometric design! This would work well for a masculine or feminine card! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!
