Isn’t it fun to try a new technique?

Here is the other...
The base card for mine is white card stock with a layer of dark brown card stock.
The main piece is white card stock that I placed a large star stencil over and stenciled with Distress faded jeans ink first.
Next i applied the Simon Says Stamps “Falling Snow” stencil over it and sponged that with Hero arts unicorn ink.
In the upper left hand corner I stamped the sentiment from MFT Stamps “Deer Friends” using StazOn timber brown ink.
From the same dark brown card stock as the layer I die cut the deer and antlers from MFT Die-namics “Delightful Deer” and glued it to the card front.
Stunning I love the star

That star is a wonderful aperture to use the partial stencilling technique! It looks so dramatic. The silhouette against it is striking, a great CAS card. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteYou created a beautiful backkground in the star.
ReplyDeleteYour partial stenciling has created a wonderful background, which is perfect for showing off your beautiful stamped deer. Love it! Gill x
