These reindeer are peeking in on Santa’s workshop from a very tall window.
Can’t you just imagine the wall paper in Santa’s workshop being red & white?
The base card is white card stock with the top sponged with Distress blueprint sketch ink.
The brown top, though it doesn’t show much on the photo. Was made on cream card stock with Distress Inks ground espresso and gathered twigs then run through the Vagabond with the Tim Holtz 3D “Lumber” embossing folder.
Next I die cut the window from that piece using a die from
MFT Die-namics “Stitched Arch STAX”.
This I applied over the sponged part of the base card .
With Reminisce white gel pen I applied snowflakes.
Using two of the dies I cut out the border for the window from white card stock and glued it on.
After applying the paid patterned paper to the bottom of the card I cut out a piece of white card stock using a die from
MFT Die-namics “Stitched Rectangle STAX” then trimmed a strip off and applied it for a chair rail.
After printing out Bugaboo Stamps “Reindeer Trio” to white card stock I colored them with Prismacolor pencils and trimmed them out with scissors before applying them to the window.
LOL, this is a really cute idea! I bet they are wondering how heavy the sleigh is gonna be this year. HAHA! Thanks for your explanation on how you made your card too. Thanks for joining us in our Day CIJ challenge at Catch the Bug! I hope you will continue to play along! :)
