To make the “ocean” I used white card stock and crumpled it up then unfolded it, inked the crinkles with Distress cracked pistachio ink and spritzed it with water.
Next I ironed it with my craft iron and once dry I sponged the whole piece with Distress peacock feathers ink, dripped water on the piece, blotted it with a paper towel then ironed it again.
I find the ironing dries the drips lighter than just blotting it with the towel.
Next I trimmed this piece with the wave die from MFT Die-namics “Pop-Up Wiper Card Components” and just down from that I die cut the sentiment opening with MFT Die-namics “Stitched Oval Word Window”.
Then I taped it to a white card stock base card .
The sentiment from MFT Stamps “Beach Buds” was stamped with MFT extreme black hybrid ink.
On another piece of white card stock I stamped the fish from MFT Stamps “Beach Buds” With MFT extreme black hybrid ink and colored it with Copic markers, before trimming it out and applying a small Action Wobble to the back and on the card.
To finish I colored the fish with Wink of Stella clear gloss for a glittery look and attached the googlie eyes.

A wonderful way to make an ocean Arlene - it looks amazing. Love your fish, he's the perfect colour and size for your ocean, and his eyes are such fun!.
