While I love coloring with my markers, pens, inks and paints once in a while I like to paper piece to use some of the tons of patterned paper I have.
The white card stock base card has a piece from Paper Studio’s “Orange Envy” for the back ground.
The image is from Stampendous and is Ziggy!
This I stamped with MFT extreme black hybrid ink onto cream card stock, more patterned paper from the pad and orange card stock.
I used the cream as the base and trimmed out what I needed of the others and glued them in place.
Before trimming the Ziggy out I colored the pom-pom and the steam with a white gel pen.
Before attaching Ziggy with the foam squares I had applied to his back, I used a piece of orange card stock and stamped the sentiment from MFT Stamps “Clearly Sentimental About Coffee” with the same ink.
This I glued to the card front then applied Ziggy!
What a smile worthy card Arlene - Ziggy is so wonderfully pieced, and looks stunning there sniffing his coffee in his jazzy PJ's
