Copics...

and

Well fellow stampers I have finally joined the ranks of Copic users!
Thanks to the clearance sale at Hobby Lobby last week I was able to get 134 Copics at $1.99 each!
Sadly there are colors I am missing but I will be filling in now and not mind spending a bit more.
This card is my first Copic coloring experience and I will be doing more in the future.
Don’t get me wrong I still love my Chameleons, Darice Studio 71, Arteza water color, Prisma color pencils, Distress markers, etc. as sometimes there is just one better than the others.
However I am excited to be trying these out!
The base card is white card stock with a layer of brown textured card stock and rust paper.
The main piece is white card stock with Power Poppy’s “Chinese Lantern digital stamp” printed on it then colored with the Copics.
The brown flecks were achieved with Distress Oxide gathered twigs ink and a very old odd super, open foam brush.
With more brown card stock I die cut the “happy” from
MFT Die-namics “Happy Birthday” and glued it to the card front.
The sentiment is stamped with Distress gathered twigs ink using MFT Stamps “Fall Friends”.
