Autumnal colors...

The “Retro Rubber Challenge” is one of my favorite challenges to do as most of my collection of stamps are over a year old...however I have trouble finding the dates on most of them.
Does anyone have hints about where to look them up?
Stampin’ Up’s are fairly easy as most of mine were wood to begin with and if they are on the net the year is on the front.
Such is the case with the one today.
On cream card stock I stamped Stampin’ Up’s “Autumn” (2000) using Distress Archival vintage photo ink.
Also on the bottom of the front of the card I stamped the sentiment from Stampn’ Up’s “Hand-Penned Holidays” (2011).
Once dry I brushed in Distress inks barn door and carved pumpkin.

  4. This is GORGEOUS! I love the colors and shading! If you need help finding the dates of SU stamps, you can go to Splitcoaststampers.com, there is a section in the gallery portion that lists ALL the SU sets alphabetically, and they will tell you what catalog and year they are from. That is how I figure mine out! They have galleries of other manufacturers' stamps as well, but they aren't organized as well as SU's. Hope that is helpful! It does take a little manuevering to figure out the site, but it is worth it! Thanks for playing with the Retro Rubber challenge!

  6. Oh WOW!! your shading is spectacular, those leaves are beautiful, they look transparent, awesome.
And I love the font on your sentiment, I have that set of SU sentiments and it's a keeper.
Now, if you want to find our the age of your SU sets, go to Splitcoaststampers and click on the Stampin Up galleries, there you'll find ALL OF THE STAMPIN UP SETS FROM THEM, in alphabetical order, you just click on the group like A-B, C-D, E-F, etc. and, if you know the name of your set, you'll find it there, they even put what year the sets were launched and in what catalog.
For other companies, I might type the name of the set and what company and go to Pinterest, I hope this helps.
Thank you for playing with us at RETRO RUBBER.
    Hugs.
