I could have chosen more colors but these three just seemed right together.
The base card is white card stock.
The main piece is white card stock made into a background using Distress Oxides brushed corduroy, peeled paint and candied apple with CTMH “Holly Christmas”.
On another piece of the white card stock I stamped two holly leaves and two berries, trimmed them out and applied them to the bottom of the card front before trimming the edges.
Now let’s see what you do!
It’s never too early for Christmas! Love the way you created the leaves and berries on your card. The brown flourishes really set off the basic element of the holly. Nice!
ReplyDeleteOf course it is not to early, particularly when you make handmade cards! What a great Christmas card.
ReplyDeleteGreat time to get a start on Christmas cards! Love your images and then popping up one set in the corner. Love it!
ReplyDeleteGreat card! I am partial to holly & berries so I quite enjoy this card.

ReplyDeletePretty personalized stamped background and love that you stamped and fussy-cut the same image and popped it up...pretty card. It inspires me to start some of my homemade Christmas cards. I deleted my previous comment because I was asking you if you are the Unknown, but you can't be...do you know who that might be?
ReplyDeleteLove the subtle dimension ion the corner of this gorgeous card Arlene
