When I have a nice cup of tea I always have happy thoughts.
The base card is cream card stock.
O another strip of the cream card stock I used Catherine Pooler’s “Swoop Stencil”, Distress inks (bundled sage, lucky clover) and a make up brush.
On another piece of cream card stock I stamped the mug and spoon images from Honey Bee Stamps “Tea Time” with Gina K amalgam ink.
I made a mask for the tea bag tag from a post it note then with the makeup brush I colored the mug with Distress picked raspberry ink and the spoon with Distress bundled sage ink.
I drew the “steam” with a Sharpie Fine point marker.
Once I cut these out with my Cutter Bee scissors I applied them with foam tape.
The sentiment tag was made with more cream card stock, Taylored Expressions “Many Minis - Occasions” sentiment and Gina K amalgam ink.
Awesome card! Great use of the colors! Thanks for playing along with us at CC&S!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful card Arlene - love the way you have used the stencil on just a strip behind the mug. Beautiful soft colours too.
