Autumn reading...

Though it looks like a card it is in fact a book ark applied to a card for easy mailing!
The base is brown checked card stock with a layer of kraft card stock.
Using more kraft card stock I die cut the bookmark using Sunny Studios Build-A-Tag #1” set.
On the bookmark I stamped the sentiment from Sunny Studios “Beautiful Autumn” set with StazOn timber brown ink.
I used post it notes to cover the sentiment but you could use washi tape.
This covers it while you stamp the leaves from the same set with the StazOn ink.
The leaves were colored with Faber Castell Polychromos, artist stumps and Gamsol.
The ribbon is white and brown twine.
On the white card stock, placed in my Tim Holtz stamping platform, I aligned the tag with the sentiment from the set and stamped it multiple times with the StazOn ink.
Once it was applied to the card i used glue dots, for ash removal of the book mark, to apply it to the card front.

  1. Love this concept of a bookmark on the card, and the way you have aligned the stamping on the card with the bookmark is perfection.
