finding an old medium...

Though I started to do this card on watercolor paper to use my watercolors I ended up finding an old set of paint called “Fairie Myst” that I used years ago when teaching online.
They are kind of like a Jacquard Lumiere paint.
Slow drying and shimmery when done.
For this card I had already stamped the Stampin’ Up “Corner Garden” using Distress Archival hickory smoke ink on the water color paper so I just continued by painting with the Fairie Myst (Rose, Olive & Apple Blossom).
These colors matched the challenge palette to most.
Once dry I applied a piece of fun foam to the back of the main piece and applied that to a white linen card base.
To finish I stamped the verse from Stampin’ Up’s “Garden In Bloom” with the Distress Archival ink.

  1. What a pretty card Arlene - love the soft colour palette, and from the sounds of it, it must be beautifully shimmery IRL
