Mixing blues gave me a chance to do this card.
On water color paper I mixed Distress inks chipped sapphire, blueprint sketch and faded jeans with my larger water color brush for a muted tone.
The base card is white linen card stock.
Onto that I layered the completely dry watercolor piece.
The top piece is another piece of white linen card stock that I die cut with one of the Tim Holtz “Mixed Media #2” dies.
Also I stamped the verse from Tim Holtz”Things/Talk” set with the Distress chipped sapphire ink.
Ooh, so pretty, Arlene! I love the blue showing through that beautiful die cut! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour!
