stenciling on inked background...

The base card is white card stock.
On another piece of white card stock I sprayed Distress Oxide mermaid lagoon spray.
Once dry I used Jenni Bowlin Studio’s “Teardrop” stencil and sponged with Distress mermaid lagoon ink.
Using MFT Die-namics “Color Drops STAX” I cut out three tear drops.
These I attached to the card front and then stamped the verse from MFT Stamps “GP Wildflowers” with the Distress ink.
To finish I die cut a Tim Holtz “Detailed Butterfly, Mini” from more white card stock and attached him to the tear drop with a glue dot.

  2. What an elegant and stunning card Arlene - one that would be really appreciated by the recipient. I love the tear drop die cuts and how you have placed them, and the butterfly is the perfect accent.
