The “barn” look on this card reminds me of my Grandmother’s barn in Pennsylvania (which is no longer there).
In memory of my Grandma I made this gate fold card starting with a piece of white card stock that I scored 2-1/8” from each side to produce the “gate fold”.
I layered black card stock to each gate.
Using brown textured card stock I ran it through the Big Kick with Tim Holtz 3D “lumber” embossing folder.
On that piece I sponged Distress ink picket fence, to give it that worn look.
This I trimmed to fit the “gates” on the front of the card.
On kraft card stock I printed Bugaboo Stamps digi “AKV Cow Pile”, colored it with assorted markers, trimmed it out with scissors ad applied it to the right gate of the card.
Using MFT Stamps “Farm-tastic” set and StazOn jet black ink I stamped the verse to white card stock, backed it with black card stock and attached it to the left side of the “gate”.
Wonderful Moos, and I am so glad they are on the right side (outside) of the gate, so you can really show them off in all their beauty. Love the timbered look to the barn doors on this fabulous gate card
