snowflake shaker...

and

I’ve been waiting to use these dies for a long time but only had the chance to play with them once.
This time I figured out how to make a shaker cards using one of the smaller dies.
The base card is white card stock with a piece of gold card stock applied.
With white card stock and Spellbinders “Holiday” dies I cut out one of the medium dies.
Next I laced that die on top of another piece of white card stock and marked the inside of the die with a pencil dot, then using a metal straight edge and a craft knife I cut it open, removing the square.
Using my Tim Holtz small cutter I made a frame and taped it to the die cut piece to enlarge the edge so I could apply the foam tape.
I applied the acetate and thanks to Jennifer McGuire telling me to use EK Success powder tool I was able to keep the
“Sparkle Blends : Fairy Dust” by Doodles Paper Playground from sticking to the tape and relieving the static to allow it to roll around the shaker.
To finish I stamped the verse (Hero Arts) with Encore Ultimate Metallic gold ink.
