It is my humble opinion that wild animals should be allowed to live where they are born.
This Twofer Challenge gave me a chance to express my feelings in card art.
The card on the left is in black and white for a reason.
The card is white linen card stock with the giraffe and verse from MFT Stamps “Sweet Safari” stamped with Gina K amalgam ink.
The cage I drew in with assorted black permanent pens.
The card on the left is a white linen card stock base card and the main piece is water color paper.
On the main piece I stamped the animals, leaves and verse from MFT Stamps “Sweet Safari” with Gina K amalgam ink.
It is colored with Master’s Touch semi moist watercolor.
I mean no disrespect to anyone who believes in zoos so please don’t take this personally.
It is as I said before just my opinion and what came to my mind immediately when i saw this challenge.
I love your two designs with zoo animals, Arlene! That's a perfect sediment for that long-necked giraffe in your first design and I love the coloring and composition of your second design! Great somersaulting monkey!! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #15! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteI hear you loud and clear on the zoo issue - I have mixed feelings, but that's me. Love your cards, they are beautifully made, as ever.

The black and white design was such a great idea, and I do admire your drawing skill - that cage is wonderfully drawn. And your watercolored card is beautifully done. I can see that you've created a savannah for that giraffe. Both cards are delightful. Thank you for joining us at the Twofer Challenge. Bev
