flowers...



There are only two Close To My Heart sets in my collection (for now) and when I pulled out the “Beloved Bouquet” for the challenge I did previously, it just looked good for this challenge.
The base card is white card stock with a layer of dark grey (charcoal) card stock.
The peonies from the set were stamped onto water color paper with Distress inks...Victorian Velvet (Sugarplum) and Iced Spruce (New England Ivy) then water colored.
Once dry I stamped the verse from the same set with Adirondack slate (Charcoal) ink.
I followed the Tic-Tac-Toe from the bottom right to the upper left and then added the charcoal from the extra swatch.
