This challenge took me way back to a church I used to attend and my stained glass days.
The reason I used only part of the image is that the church I had attended had burned down in the past.
One day I was wandering the attic of the new church for Sunday School supplies and found the old stained glass windows from the original church.
One was in really bad shape but there was a lot of glass.
That’s when I decided to ask the heads of the church if I could cut it up and remake it into ornaments that we, the craft group, could sell to make money for the church.
Given the ok I did just that!
This card is white linen card stock base card.
For the challenge I used the Woodward Craft Collection “Mosaic Flower Window” stamp heat embossed on water color paper with watercoloring part of the image, this represented the broken window.
Once it was dry I cut it out and applied it with glue dots, for a bit of dimension, to the card front.
To finish I stamped the verse from Wordsworth Stamps using Gina K amalgam ink.
