From the same Tim Holtz set using two of his balloons from that set I made these cards.
The Halloween card is black card stock base card with a layer of watercolor paper that I made a background using Distress Oxide sprays walnut stain and spiced marmalade with Distress Spray Stain carved pumpkin.
To that piece I stamped the balloon from Tim Holtz “Clear Stamps-Things/Talk” with StazOn jet black ink.
I added the strings with a fine line permanent marker and colored the balloons with Distress marker carved pumpkin.
Using Tim Holtz “Hocus Pocus” hat die and Tim Holtz “Trick Or Treat” Happy Halloween die I cut them from black card stock and added them to the card front.
The second card is water color paper on which I stamped the balloons from the same Tim Holtz set and the verse from the same set.
The strings were done the same way and then I water colored it with Tim Holtz distress inks.
To finish I attached it to a white linen base card.
Two very cool designs, Arlene, with lots of depth! I like the way you did the backgrounds and how you colored the balloons! Thank you very much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #14! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to use balloons for Halloween. I would never have thought of that! It's wonderfully colored too. I do like your second card as well. It's bright and fresh and lovely. Thank you for joining us at the Twofer Challenge. Bev
