stencil and stamping...

Once I went through my “Tuesday Morning” stash, all the Inkadinkadoo stamp sets for the “Stamping Gear”, that I had purchased very cheap, I decided to make a card with my homemade wreath template.
I cut out a piece of white card stock with MFT Die-namics “Inside & Out Stitched Square STAX”.
Using that with my homemade wreath template, Tim Holtz platform, Inkadinkadoo “Butterflies Cling” and Distress Archival hickory smoke ink, I made the main piece.
Once the ink was dry I sponged the Distress rusty hinge and wilted violet inks through Stamplorations “Leaf Print” stencil, that I had sectioned off a single leaf with washi tape.
To complete the card I cut a white card stock base card with a layer of rust card stock to fit underneath the main piece.
These I taped to the base card then added a grey enamel dot to the center.
To finish I stamped the verse from Inkadinkadoo’s”Thoughts For The Day” set with the Archival ink.
