two birds for...

On to a new challenge, for me.
This challenge requires you use the same stamp but make two different cards from it.
WPlus9 “Happy Birds” is the set I used.
The card on the left is kraft card stock and I drew a line with a fine line black marker.
Next I stamped the bird and the verse using my Tim Holtz stamp platform and Gina K amalgam ink.
I colored this bird with Studio 71 markers and Pentel Milky Pop white one.
The second card is black card stock base card with a layer of grey card stock.
I die cut a piece of white card stock with the largest MFT Die-namics “Inside & Out Stitched Square STAX”.
Using the home made wreath maker...
With the bird and Gina K amalgam ink.
I colored the birds with Studio 71 markers and glued it to the grey piece.
To finish I stamped the verse from the set onto the grey piece.

  1. Haha, a wreath made out of darling birds! What a very clever idea, A.Rose! Your unique design definitely put a smile on my face! And I love your single bird on the wire, too! He looks so handsome on the kraft card base, even better than a French fry!! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #12! Hugs, Darnell

  2. Such a fun image and great way to use it on both your cards. That circle of birds put a smile on my face! :) Great sentiment to go with the card! And great sentiment again with your second card. So funny. Two great designs. Thanks for playing with us at Twofer Card Challenge!

  3. Wonderful cards Arlene, and so innovative - love the sole bird on the wire, and yes, the circle of birds (so improbable but humorous) did make me smile
