My son and daughter-in-law celebrate their seventh anniversary this year in October.
I decided to make them a card with the actual number on the front.
The base card is rust card stock with layers of gold and more rust.
Each of them is sponged with Adirondack terra cotta and butterscotch inks.
The main piece is cream card stock sponged with the butterscotch ink and stamped with the number 7 from Tim Holtz “mini numeric” set using the terra cotta ink.
On a piece of water color paper I sponged the two inks.
Next I dripped water on them and blotted it off with a paper towel.
Over to the Big Shot with. The maple leaves from Sizzix Tim Holtz “Fall Foliage” set and cut out a bunch of leaves.
Before attaching the main piece to the card front I sponged through the negative piece of water color paper that I had cut the leaves out of with the butterscotch ink.
Now I attached it to the base card then glued the leaves over the front.
Gorgeous leaves! Thanks for playing along at Use Your Stuff - Gail
