and
We forget sometimes that snowy days need not be dark and grey.
Instead this card shows the sun rising in the East while a cloud filled with snow let’s go in between.
Using the Simon Says Stamp “falling snow” stencil and Versmark ink I sponged it fully.
Removing the stencil I used white embossing powder to heat emboss the snow.
The MFT Mix-ables “cloud” stencil I placed on the bottom of the card and started to sponge Distress inks in the following order toward the top of the card...
Aged Mahogany
Fired Brick
Wild Honey
Mustard Seed
The verses, Paper Smooches “Christmas Sampler”, were stamped with StazOn jet black ink.
On another piece of white card stock I stamped the snowman with the StazOn from Paper Smooches “Swanky Snowdudes”.
I colored hm with Distress markers wild honey and fired brick.
After trimming him it with scissors I applied him to the card with foam tape.
I think this card is stunning! I love how the white pops against the background! Really well done! Thanks for joining us at CCAYR and I hope we'll see you again!
